- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I think he is the best that I have come across. If you do & take the medicine he prescribes you won't have any problems, but if you know more than he does, why go to him! I used to go to a doctor in Laurel, md, and he kept you coming back & coming back to collect more money before he decided to prescribe the right prescription. - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪The doctor was very friendly, personable, and knew what he was doing. I would highly reccomend him to anyone. On the other hand the receptionists at the desk were very unprofessional, one day there and was doing nothing and the other just sat there looking at me while I stood there waiting. When she finally asked if she could help me, her demeanor indicated that I was disturbing her hiatus. When I finally got to the back the m.a or nurse there didn't introduce herself ,so I don't know what she was. She leaned on the counter in the room, and proceeded to ask questions. Then she left the room. If you don't mind crass and unfriendly wait staff then by all means visit. The doctor himself is worth it! - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Unfortunately, I cannot rate Dr. Gunning because his formidable gatekeepers (i.e. office staff) have not extended the "courtesy" of a return phone call after three attempts over a two week period. It is very frustrating to go through the hassle of getting a referral and then not being able to use it. I can only hope that Dr. Gunning reads these reviews himself because there is no way to reach him without getting through the office firewall. Dr. Gunning: if you're wondering why you don't have as many patients as you could, you should get rid of the detritus who are managing your appointment book. Looking at some of these other reviews, I can see that I am not alone. In the real business world, this would never be tolerated.February 15, 2017by Dave Piehl
